Early Life and Career
Miroslav Josef Klose was born on June 9, 1978, in Opole, Poland. He started his football career in Germany, playing for 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 1999. His impressive performances earned him a move to Werder Bremen in 2004, where he won the Bundesliga title and German Cup.
International Career
Klose made his debut for the German national team in 2001. He quickly became a key player for the Mannschaft, scoring 71 goals in 137 appearances.
