Early Life and Career

Miroslav Josef Klose was born on June 9, 1978, in Opole, Poland. He started his football career in Germany, playing for 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 1999. His impressive performances earned him a move to Werder Bremen in 2004, where he won the Bundesliga title and German Cup.

International Career

Klose made his debut for the German national team in 2001. He quickly became a key player for the Mannschaft, scoring 71 goals in 137 appearances. He represented Germany in four World Cups, winning the tournament in 2014. With 16 goals in World Cup matches, Klose is the all-time top scorer in the competition.

Legacy

Miroslav Klose retired from professional football in 2016. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of his generation, known for his exceptional heading ability and clinical finishing. In 2018, he was inducted into the Bayern Munich Hall of Fame. Klose currently works as an assistant coach for the German national team.
